Help me with an argument. are these glasses emo?

The glasses themselves are NOT emo, but an emo/scene person could wear those glasses to fit in with the style, considering that those glasses are thick, black, and horn-rimmed glasses. I wear those kind of glasses, not the same brand though, and I look emo/scene, BUT I wore those before I went scene, so a person fitting in with a preppy style or any style really, can wear those glasses and not look emo/scene.
