Airplane carry on rules?

hey i wouldsay pack makeup in a checked bag if you can but they weren't that strict when I flew to florida last month. put it in a purse if you don't want to follow the rule. and id wear comfy jeans and a tshirt or sweats its a 6 hour flight! I wore pjs on my flight and it was less than 2 hours haha but it was a trip we took on a chartered plane so it was just people i knew.
